About

Good Measure is a small editorial publication built around the everyday objects you keep on hand — bowls, towels, mills, matches. The things that don't ask for attention but make a real difference in how a room works.

The idea took shape after years of designing editorial stories and curated gift guides for luxury retail brands, including Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. That design work came down to product detail — what it's made of, how it's crafted, what makes it worth the price. Good Measure is a smaller, independent take on the same instincts.

Each piece is chosen against a short filter. It has to work well, hold up, and look better the longer you live with it. Beyond that, it needs to have some character worth noting. The kind of product you wouldn't find with a search for "soft towels" online.

We don't follow trend cycles. We don't run sales or seasonal pushes. The site is built for someone who would rather find the right piece once than replace a cheaper one twice.
